A.D. Grant
"AD" is known throughout Madison County for his kind manner and generous nature. A life long resident of Madison County, AD has strong farming roots, learning the farming industry on his fathers’ farm and today continues to supplement his business ventures with cattle and tobacco revenues from his own farming interest. He began his building career with Ball homes and helped to build what is now Roy Kidd Stadium before starting his own business. AD has been in business for over thirty years. He is the founder of Foxglove Apartments which is recognized today as the largest Property Management Company in Richmond. His development/building company AD Grant Builders builds about twenty-five houses per year. Most houses are geared towards first time home buyers but he is contemplating an entrance to the custom-built arena. His latest venture is the new 10,000 sq. ft. Foxglove Building off the EKU by-pass at the HWY 52 intersection. This will be the new home for Foxglove Apartments and National City Bank Also in the works is a new business center we currently call Grant Plaza, just off exit 90. He is in the Exchange Club, a member of 183 Kirksville Masonic Lodge, a member of the Home Builders Association, Richmond Chamber and serves on the board of The Salvation Army. Of all his many accomplishments, AD is most proud of his four successful children and dotes on his eight grandchildren. He loves Golfing and spends his free time when not with family on the links of Gibson Bay or Arlington. AD doesn’t have any plans for retirement in the near future.
Becky Chenault
Becky is a life time Madison County resident. Always business minded, Becky began learning her fathers business at the early age of fifteen and has been deeply involved since. Currently she serves as Vice President of Foxglove and manages the day to day activities of the entire Foxglove organization. Becky is very involved with the local Chamber of Commerce and loves to help her community by sponsoring various community activities such as little league and cheerleading whenever possible. Her real passion is acting and Becky has numerous theatrical awards to her credit. She studied Theatre Arts at Eastern Kentucky University, attended various classes and workshops and is a member of the Actors Guild. Becky has been featured in several national and regional commercials and has had several roles in various movies with such stars as Sharon Stone, Nick Nolte, Albert Finney and Jeff Bridges. Her most recent accomplishment is the realization of building the new Foxglove Building where the Foxglove Property Management Company will be situated along with other businesses including National City Bank off the EKU by-pass next to East Ridge Apartments. Becky is very involved in the lives of her two daughters as well as that of her husband. She loves the Richmond community and never wants to leave it behind.
